Before he became Saint Bob through Live Aid, Bob Geldof used to be in a band called The Boomtown Rats. This is a collection of photographs taken by Daily Mirror-photographer Stone on various BR-tours from 1978 until 1980. Numerous b/w pics of on-stage and off-stage antics capture the life-on-the-road of an honest band in the pre-MTV-era.
